Adhiyaman Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Adhiyaman Nagar, Uthangarai was started on 22nd March-2004 with the everlasting blessings of the soul of the dedicated teacher Mr.N.SRINIVASAN and by the encouragement of well-wishers of Uthangarai and started providing its academic services from the academic year 2004-2005. Classes are running with a strength of 3133 students and 185 teachers. It is a sister concern and offspring of Adhiyaman Educational Institute which was being run over a period of early 18 academic years, producing a number of Doctors, Engineers, Teachers and many Government officials. This school was started with great the intention of serving all the sections of people at different status belonging to this locality by giving their children a quality education.
Our school has classes from LKG to XII std and it is a co-education school. Our School offers instruction through English. Tamil is a compulsory Language. In K.G. to V std Teaching - Learning activity has been intentionally adapted by specially trained teachers. Efforts have been taken to make the children “Feel at home and Secure”.
To crown it all a special method of teaching and learning programme namely XSEED has been implemented from LKG to V std. CBSE Syllabus is also taught VI to VIII in addition to Symmetry books. Our School is providing Computer Education to all the children.
Coaching for NEET, JEE, IIT is given from VI-XII std throughout the academic year and an intensive special NEET coaching is offered to XII" students after their public exam till the date they appear the exam for that. Our school follows three language system namely English, Tamil and Hindi as compulsory language.
