CURRICULAM
AMS follows syllabus and curriculum prescribed by ‘The state board of Tamil Nadu “Samacheer Kalvi”. In order to impart qualitative education, providing for students at the primary, elementary, secondary and Higher Secondary levels, with well-qualified tutors. The essence of education is to train the mind to think and to display the multifarious hidden talents in the students as well. The school focuses on the holistic development of the students by providing them with diverse Curricular activities, Co-Curricular activities & Extracurricular activities.
Kindergarten level: (LKG to UKG)
In Kindergarten level, we are following the play way learning method which helps the buds learn better.
LISTENING SKILLS
Play with Sounds (Phonics) / Audio Visual Aids / Story Time / Music & Rhymes
SPEAKING SKILLS
(Vocabulary Enrichment / Elocutions / Role Play / Linguistically Structured Activities)
READING SKILLS
Regular Reading / Kids Library /Picture Reading
WRITING SKILLS
(Pre-Writing Skills / Fine Motor Stimulation / Regular Writing /Co-Curricular Activities - Drawing, Colouring and Tracing)
Moreover, in our school “Colours Day, Circle Time, Story Telling, Festival celebration” are followed in Kindergarten.
Elementary level: (Class I to V)
At the Elementary level, we use an activity-based learning approach that builds strong foundational skills. Children learn through exploration, practice, and engaging classroom activities.
XSEED
In Elementary level to enhance the students’ Knowledge, we use XSEED method, play way Method, storytelling
Extra-Curricular activities
Activities like field trip, group activities, experiment, conducting quiz, real teaching aid, Flash card, Eye sight word related to the subjects are used for the children’s better learning.
Primary level: (Class VI to VII)
- ⭐ In primary level we use Activity based learning
- ⭐Foundation classes are taken for std VI, VII & VIII.
- ⭐Every month we conduct monthly activities for each subject.
- ⭐ Outdoor teaching
- ⭐ Learning through field
- ⭐ Skills for adolescence (SFA) classes conducted for std VI, VII & VIII to develop their adolescence skill.
Secondary level: (Class IX to X)
- In Secondary level we follow the government-based syllabus “Samacheer Kalvi”.
- Subjects: Tamil, English, Maths, Science, Social Science & Computer Science.
- Activities like Scouts and guides, Bharatanatyam, Physical Education are provided to the students.
Higher Secondary level:
(Class XI to XII)
In higher secondary level we follow three streams…
Group I
Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Group II
Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
Group III
Tamil, English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology.
